Yesterday, at Puppet Camp DC, I presented a talk on quickly scanning your entire fleet of MCollective connected systems using OpenSCAP.
Overall, the proof of concept worked very well and I was pleased with the results. The reception to the utility also seemed quite warm in the room and there were quite a few conversations afterward regarding the future capabilities of the tool.
Additionally, I was happy to have raised some awareness of SCAP, OpenSCAP, and the SCAP Security Guide projects. All are very worth attention and assistance.
