  • Redesigned packaging of SIMP RPMs support management of multiple Puppet environments.
    • Easily use r10K or Code Manager to maintain these environments, even on isolated networks.
  • Puppet modules installed via SIMP-packaged RPMs are now imported into local, SIMP-managed Git repositories
  • SIMP component RPM install/upgrade/erase operation will not modify an active Puppet environment or SIMP secondary environment
  • Provide commands through SIMP’s CLI to help users create and maintain one or more SIMP Omni-Environments
  • SIMP Console 1.1 is now bundled in the Simp Enterprise Installation

  • Please read the Upgrade Docs. You MUST be on 6.3.3 before upgrading to 6.4.0, and expect a puppet run to not result in changes.
  • The Puppet 3 Functions in this list will be removed in SIMP 6.5.0.
